MEET THE TEAM

Neil Howitt

Founder

Neil, alongside his partner Justine, founded Albany Solar in 2010.  He is also the electrical contractor (Howitt Electrical EC009265) and accredited to design and install renewable energy systems including on/off grid solar, battery and wind with over 35 years experience in the UK and Australia. His passion is renewable energy and providing his customers with the best products on the market. Outside of work, he likes to go exploring the Australian wilderness and is a keen woodworker.

Justine Canning

Co-Founder

Justine, alongside her partner Neil, is the owner of Albany Solar. Justine liaises with staff, customers and takes care of the day to day running of the business. Justine loves to travel and explore the Australian wilderness with Neil, rustle up some culinary delights and spend time with her family.

Greg Kohlen

Sales & Business Development

Being Albany born and bred, Greg is a well known and friendly face. He is well versed in all matters solar especially commercial and off grid systems. Greg is always available to share his knowledge to tailor the best solar and hot water solutions, at the right price point, for Albany Solar customers. Greg is also a keen cyclist and adventurer.

Sharon Oreo

Sales & Support Officer

Sharon is another Albany local and friendly face at Albany Solar. She has a great understanding of solar and can share the many examples of customers she has helped by reducing their energy costs with her suggested solutions. Sharon also effectively communicates with installers, so your system is implemented in no time, ready to start saving you money.  Sharon’s favourite things to do are caravanning, cooking, fishing and spending time with her family.
